As my final virtual library tour in 2018, I found this
program to be inventive and especially useful for those who can’t get around as
much as everyone else.
Here’s a great idea!
This program is geared toward people with disabilities and loans, not
only library materials, but equipment to see if it will work with their
lifestyles. Thanks West Virginia!

Welcome to the West
Virginia Assistive Technology System (WVATS) Virtual Loan Library
Loan programs allow
people with disabilities to borrow equipment and try it in their natural
environments (home, school, workplace, etc.) to help them in making a better
decision as to whether the product and its features will be useful to them.
The WVATS Virtual
Loan Library system lets users:
· Borrow devices to try
· See devices available
for demonstration
· Find used devices for
free or low-cost
· Sell used devices
· Give away devices
· Place want ads for
devices you need
