Happy New Year-2017

Thanks for visiting Fifty Authors from Fifty States Blog in 2016.  Congratulations to all the participants for making this year one of the biggest yet and to the winner of the end of the year prize Mary D. and the Author Participant, Patricia Smith Wood.
We begin another great year with the state of Alabama, Author Aidee Ladnier, and her interesting history.  Aidee began writing fiction at twelve years old but took a hiatus to be a magician’s assistant, ride in hot air balloons, produce independent movies, collect interesting shoes, and amass a secret file with the CIA. A lover of genre fiction, it has been a lifelong dream of Aidee's to write both romance and erotica with a little science-fiction, fantasy, mystery, or the paranormal thrown in to add a zing.

  1. First of all, thanks to you, Annette, and to Patricia Wood for my win of the annual gift basket. The products are wonderful and already in use.

Am looking forward to reading more about our states. This blog opens up knowledge to parts of each state that is interesting and invites a visit to places many of us only wish to see. Not to mention finding exciting books to read. It's a win/win situation for everyone involved.
